DESCRIPTION:Express your creativity! Let’s color splash the sidewalk in front of the museum into a mosaic of designs. We’ll provide the chalk; you bring your ideas and drawing skills! No previous art experience required. This interactive art activity is a great way to enjoy the community atmosphere and show off your ingenious\, creative side! Drawings will be judged and prizes awarded at 1:30 pm. Program is FREE\, however\, we ask that you pre- register by May 15. You can register the day of the program as long as space is available.  Rain date is Sunday\, May 19.

SUMMARY:Race to the Flag 5K
DESCRIPTION:The 10th annual Race to The Flag 5K Run/Walk will begin and end at beautiful Ty Warner Park. The course travels throughout the Oakwood subdivision. Event participants will receive a race t-shirt\, a ticket to the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast as well as have the opportunity to engage with supporting organizations and businesses from around the community while enjoying the festivities of the Red\, White\, and BBQ weekend. The event is a fundraiser for the People’s Resource Center and is a super opportunity for the entire family to get involved. The course is CARA and USATF certified and runners as well as walkers are welcome to participate. A designated starting location will be identified for participants pushing strollers. The race will be on Sunday\, May 26 and begin at 8:00am.
