DESCRIPTION:Our gym will be transformed into an epic Nerf battleground. Kids will participate in games and an obstacle course and end with teams setting up their course with various bunkers and hiding places\, for a battle of capture the flag! Participants will be divided into two age groups 6-8 yrs and 9-11 yrs\, while one group battles the other will fuel up with pizza and drinks. \n• Participants must provide their own Nerf gun that fits elite darts.\n• No automatic\, mega or rival guns allowed. \nAGES: 6-11 MIN/MAX: 10/50 LOCATION: WCC Gym\, 75 E. You’ll have a chance to meet our expert gardeners from The Garden Club of Downers Grove who take pride in creating and caring for our beautiful garden. Our young green thumbs can plant a flower to take home\, do a craft\, and meet some animal friends from Hidden Oaks Nature Center. Local author of the new Westmont 100th Anniversary book\, Maggie South\, will also be present and copies of the book will be available for purchase.

DESCRIPTION:Parents\, your kids want to go fishing! Come out to our Take Me Fishing event at beautiful Bernas Park and enjoy the lifetime activity of fishing as a family. Fishing prizes and giveaways will be given to participants while supplies last.\nKids 14 and under must be under adult supervision. This is an outdoor activity and there is plenty of room to be socially distant from other families\, however\, we do ask out of respect and courteous that a face mask be worn as well.\nPlease bring your own fishing pole for this event. \nAll ages are welcome to this FREE event! \n  \n
