SUMMARY:Senior Golf League Coffee
DESCRIPTION:First think SPRING\, then think GOLF!  Yes\, it’s time to dust off your clubs and kick-off our 2019 golf season.  Join us on Friday\, March 9 at 10am in the Linden Room at the Senior Center. You’ll meet and greet our golf league friends and board members.  We’ll supply the coffee and breakfast treats; you bring a friend or potential golfer.  There will be a short introduction with information provided about the league\, the fees and time for you to get your questions answered. \nThe 2019 Senior Golf League will begin April 22 and end September 24.  Tee times are Monday or Tuesday mornings at the Twin Lakes Golf Course.  This is a recreational league for those ages 55 and wiser.  All ability levels are welcome to play! \nNew Golfers can contact the senior coordinator at 630-969-8080 for information and registration forms. Last year’s participants will be mailed registration forms in late February

DESCRIPTION:Now that warm weather and sunshine is here\, it is time to CELEBRATE CREATIVITY! We are transforming the Gregg House Museum into an art gallery filled with color\, texture\, imagination and inspiration!  Mary Launi\, local botanical artist\, is our host artist and will be displaying her paintings along with many others.  Experience a palette of unique oil paintings\, watercolor paintings\, prints\, pencil drawings\, glass\, sculpture and much more. All of the works of art showcase the talents of our very own local artists including the Westmont Park District’s Senior Art participants.  There will be demonstrations\, a raffle\, and some treats. Meet and chat with over 40 talented artists. You may even find a home for an art piece as many of the artworks will be available for purchase.   Let our 15th annual show ignite your passion for art!  If you wish to exhibit your art work\, please call 630-969-8080 x104.
