Sidewalk Art Contest

Express your creativity! Let’s color splash the sidewalk in front of the museum into a mosaic of designs. We’ll provide the chalk; you bring your ideas and drawing skills! No previous art experience required. This interactive art activity is a great way to enjoy the community atmosphere and show off your ingenious, creative side! Flying 4 Kids

Keep your eye to the sky in the month of May. The Westmont Park District will take part in the 6th annual Flying 4 Kids statewide kite fly in May to help promote the sport of kite flying. We will have the Chicago Kite Club come out to do demonstrations and show off their assortment of kites. Race to the Flag 5K

The 8th annual Race to The Flag 5K Run/Walk will begin and end at beautiful Ty Warner Park. The course travels throughout the Oakwood subdivision. Event participants will receive a race t-shirt, a ticket to the Lions Club Pancake Breakfast as well as have the opportunity to engage with supporting organizations and businesses from around the community while enjoying the festivities of the Red, White, and BBQ weekend. Easter Egg Hunt

Kids will have so much fun gathering eggs filled with candy and toys! It’s our traditional egg hunt, held behind the Community Center. Children will be divided into four age categories. Adults may accompany their 2-3 year olds and special needs children. 4-5 year olds, 6-7 year olds and 8-10 year olds must find the eggs on their own.
