The Last Straw
What is better than an afternoon of family fun on a cool autumn day! Come experience bales of fun at the Gregg House Museum where you can decorate a pumpkin, get your face painted or take a hayride. Don’t forget to stop by the new Farmers Market located on the baseball field warning track. The Garden Club of Downers Grove will help you make a great scarecrow for your yard.
A $15 fee includes a burlap bag for the head, straw, a wood stand, hay and various materials.
Please bring clothes (pants, shirt) and any unique items you’d like to use to decorate your scarecrow. Items should be environmentally friendly (no perishable goods) and weather resistant. We have extra clothes on hand to share.
