Beginning on Monday, November 5  outdoor shelter restrooms will close to begin the winterization process.  The restrooms at the Ty Warner Park ballfields will close on Monday, November 12 after Westmont’s Veterans Day Ceremony.  All other restrooms must be drained and all pipes disconnected removing the meters and valves to prevent freezing and costly winter damage.  Restrooms will not reopen in the spring until the threat of freezing has passed and all plumbing has been reassembled.  This process does require time and effort.  Please be patient while winter hangs around; stay warm and enjoy our parks all year round.
Please note that the only exception will be the restrooms at the James M. Long Pavilion at Ty Warner Park.  These will remain open all winter as they are insulated and heated.
