PARK BOARD MEETINGS

Meetings of the Westmont Park District Board of Commissioners are held on the second Wednesday of the month, starting at 6:00 pm, unless otherwise noted. All meetings will be held at the Administrative/Senior Center Linden Room, 55 East Richmond Street, Westmont, Illinois. These meetings are open to the public.

Persons with disabilities requiring reasonable accommodations to participate in this meeting should contact the Park District’s ADA Compliance Officer, Robert Fleck, at the District’s Administrative Office by mail at 55 E. The district may require a fee depending on size, quantity, and color of the request.

Illinois Open Meetings Act Compensation Disclosure Package
In accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act (5 ILCS 120/7.3), the Westmont Park District maintains the required employee compensation disclosure for public inspection.
The Act requires Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) employers to:
Make available the total compensation package for each employee whose total compensation exceeds $75,000 within six business days after approval of the District’s annual budget. Make available the total compensation package for any employee whose total compensation exceeds $150,000 at least six days prior to Board approval.
For purposes of the Act, a total compensation package includes salary, the employer’s cost of health insurance benefits, housing allowance, vehicle allowance, clothing allowance, bonuses, loans, vacation days granted, sick days granted, and any other compensation required to be disclosed under applicable law.

HB 3733 Provides that every employer with employees who do not regularly report to a physical workplace, such as employees who work remotely or travel for work, shall provide specified information by email to its employees or conspicuous posting on the employer’s website or intranet site, if such site is regularly used by the employer to communicate work-related information to employees and is able to be regularly accessed by all employees, freely and without interference. Repeals the Wages of Women and Minors Act. Makes other changes. That information can be found here.
